The Eastern Region Police Recruiters and Applicant Investigators Association (ERPRAIA) was founded in 1984 to bring police recruiters and applicant investigators together to exchange ideas, techniques and best practices.

As the largest recruiters organization on the East Coast, ERPRAIA produces two major conferences annually and holds bi-monthly meetings throughout the East Coast.
